HEALTH AND SAFETY ADVISER – Midlands

We are seeking a Health and Safety Adviser who will carry out site inspections on construction sites in and around the Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Cannock and Stafford areas.

The ideal candidate for this position would:

  • Have previous experience of Health and Safety within the construction Industry
  • Be an engaging, communicative individual who is IT literate and able to liaise at all levels
  • Be self-disciplined and able to manage their own diary

Digital Marketing Assistant – Rudgeway – South Gloucestershire (Part time)

Part-time | Competitive salary
A great opportunity for a self-motivated individual to work as a part-time Digital Marketing Assistant for the UK’s largest construction safety organisation, the Building Safety Group (BSG).

A strong understanding of digital and social media platforms is essential as well as a passion for marketing and desire to learn. In the role of  Digital Marketing Assistant you will be involved in a variety of activities to support business objectives that will include;

  • Plan, develop and execute marketing activity online
  • Help to manage the BSG website using our Content Management System (CMS)
  • Editing short digital marketing videos
  • Manage social media activity to help promote the BSG brand
  • Manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers and newsletters
  • Manage existing content and create new content for the website using a CMS and taking into consideration SEO
  • Working on SEO friendly content, PPC and other marketing activities
  • Create website banners and other digital creative for all marketing activity
  • Writing and proofreading copy

Applicants must have:

  • An aptitude and passion for Marketing
  • Demonstrable experience of using a website Content Management System (CMS)
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • The ability to work to deadlines
  • Competent at proof reading and excellent attention to detail
  • Have a competent understanding of Microsoft Office applications including, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience of using WordPress is preferred but not essential
  • An excellent understanding of social media channels
  • A basic understanding of SEO practices and paid media across all channels
  • A general knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, InDesign Photoshop, Illustrator and/or similar is preferred but not essential
  • Diploma / certificate of higher education or above in Digital Marketing or similar
