Digital Marketing Assistant

A great opportunity for a self-motivated individual to start a career in Digital Marketing working for the UK’s largest construction safety group, BSG (Building Safety Group).

A strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms is essential as well as a passion for marketing and wanting to learn. In the role of B2B Digital Marketing Assistant you will be involved in a variety of activities to support business objectives that will include;

  • Plan, develop and execute marketing activity online
  • Production of digital marketing videos
  • Manage day-to-day social media activity to promote the brand
  • Manage existing content and create new content for the website using a CMS and taking into consideration SEO
  • Working on SEO friendly content, PPC and other marketing activities
  • Maintaining and updating customer databases
  • Supporting other marketing activities, such as organising events including conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
  • Conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups
  • Create website banners and other digital creative for all marketing activity
  • Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers and newsletters
  • Writing and proofreading copy
  • Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials
  • Evaluating marketing campaigns
  • Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts


Applicants must have:

  • Graduate degree
  • An aptitude and passion for ‘Marketing’
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • The ability to work to deadlines
  • Competent at proof reading and excellent attention to detail
  • Have a competent understanding of Microsoft Office applications including, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • An excellent understanding of social media channels
  • A basic understanding of SEO practices and paid media across all channels
  • A general knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, InDesign Photoshop, Illustrator and/or similar is preferred but not essential


  • Full time position (8.30am – 5pm)
