BSG Webinar – Directors’ Responsibilities following proposed New UK (Euro) legislation

The Building Safety Group (BSG) is planning to deliver a series of webinars over the coming months which will address some of the key issues affecting the construction sector. The first of these will consider the likely impact which the UK Retained EU Law will have on directors of construction companies, when it comes into effect on 1st January 2024.

The webinar will be presented by BSG’s Andy Harper, Head of Technical Support (CMIOSH, IMaPS) who will examine:

Directors’ Responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 (in light of the proposed the bill)
How directors can best prepare for the new regulations
Your obligations as a business operating in the building industry
What should you do if an HSE Inspector calls
