Work-related stress led to the loss of 12.5 million working days last year and 1 in 6 adults in Britain are experiencing stress related depression, anxiety or health issues. Although stress itself is not defined as a mental health illness or problem, it can lead to anxiety, depression and in extreme cases, self-harm or suicide.
