About this course
Slinger Signaller/Banksman training would be delivered to you on your own site; you would need to supply the lifting equipment and slings etc. Basic training must be conducted off the job, however during later stages of the training some work tasks may be able to be incorporated once candidates have reached an acceptable standard of safe operation. Every endeavour is taken to minimise the impact on normal working operations and ensure that training is relevant and industry specific.

This course qualifies you to attach and sling loads of any weight and size with any kind of lifting equipment. Signal the operators of lifting equipment using recognised signals and procedures. Operate as a Slinger Signaller/Banksman on any site in the UK with permission of the person responsible for site H&S. It does not qualify you to act as an appointed person for slinging operations or instruct/ supervise others who have not received formal training as a Slinger Signaller.
