About this course
Telehandler training can be delivered to you on your own site; you would need to supply the Telehandler and area to conduct training. Basic training must be conducted off the job, however during later stages of the training some work tasks may be able to be incorporated once candidates have reached an acceptable standard of safe operation. Every endeavour is taken to minimise the impact on normal working operations and ensure that training is relevant and industry specific.

- Advanced Manoeuvring
- Basic hydraulic & electrical systems
- Daily safety checks & maintenance
- Refuelling / recharging
- Stacking and De-stacking (Bulk, Racking and Scaffolding – where applicable)
- Practical Examinations
- Vehicle loading (where applicable)
This course qualifies you to operate telehandler in accordance with ABA list classification. It also qualifies you to operate telehandler on any site in the UK with permission of the person responsible for site H&S. and use any attachment for which you receive formal training. It does not qualify you to instruct others in the use of telehandler, supervise anyone who has not received formal training and qualifications in the use of telehandler.
