The TWSTC is a one-day course. Learners must attend the whole day, complete the mandatory exercises, pass the trainer review, and pass the end-of-course assessment (7 hours, 45 minutes learning plus breaks) to be eligible for certification.
The trainer review provides a pass or fail based on the learner’s performance, engagement in the course exercises and engagement in the course overall.
The final examination has 19 multi-choice questions (one mark each) and 3 written answer questions (three marks each). The pass mark is 21 (78%). The exam lasts for 45 minutes and must be completed in exam conditions. The exam is an open book exam.
The CITB Temporary Works Supervisor certificate will be awarded to those persons who successfully complete the TWSTC course including the compulsory final examination. Delegates are also expected to be actively involved throughout the course.
Certification for this course is valid for 5 years. To remain certified in this area, you will need to retake the course before the expiry date.
