Vehicle Banksman/Traffic Marshall

Vehicle Banksman/Traffic Marshall training can be delivered to you on your own site, or on one of scheduled courses at the BSG training centre. If the training is carried out at your venue an area will be needed for the vehicle to perform manoeuvres.

This course qualifies you to assist in the manoeuvring of large goods vehicles or items of plant equipment on site. Operate on any site in the UK with the permission of the person responsible for site H&S. It does not qualify you to instruct or supervise others who have not received formal training as a vehicle banksman/traffic marshall.

Candidates per course

Maximum of 6 learners per day.

All experience levels

Minimum PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

Safety Footwear: All delegates must wear safety footwear for the duration of the practical training. Delegates will not be allowed to participate in training without safety footwear. Hi Vis coat, hard hat: Must be available for the practical assessment.

Group bookings at your premises for up to 6 people:

BSG member £495 + VAT*
Non member £620 +VAT*

The client is responsible for supplying all equipment and PPE, including the vehicle and an area to carryout the practical training.

Please be sure that the facilities available on site are suitable for training, basic comfort and welfare facilities must also be provided.

*Additional to these prices is mileage and overnight accommodation if necessary. Above prices are a standard daily rate for all candidates and not the cost per person. Course durations are determined by the accrediting body and are dependent on candidate experience and numbers. Prices quoted include certification and ID Cards where applicable.
